biggest loser finale

WOW biggest loser was ..well i want to say shocking but I'm not surprised by the winner. I'm just so proud of all the losers for all that they went through and the changes that they made in their lives.

So "Lose it!" has put me below 1400 calories and honestly I'm doing fine with it, i thought wow i will never be able to stay within 1400 but I've realized that i just have to eat enough to not be hungry anymore and to not eat and eat until i cannot eat anymore. I keep eyeballing those blender bottles and thinking that may be a good way to make smoothies while at work.. but I'm unsure. Any one use them? have any good LOW calorie, of course, recipes? any successes from it?


OH BTW I am at 202 now!! YAY :)

i've got a big head and little arms..


So my weigh in was a little delayed to my body being so sore i felt like was a T-REX because my arms couldn't bend right.. haha..so i weighed in today and it was...drum roll please...the total was 203.8!! that makes my total weight loss @ 44.2 pounds! I'm so amped, 4 more pounds to go and I'll be out of the 200's FOREVER!!!

I also noticed yesterday that my size 16 jeans were fitting a lot better than they were a week ago. I'm saying goodbye to my lane bryant jeans as they are way too baggy. So the husband and i took a trip to the Old Navy outlet store in San Marcos and i got their DIVA jeans and they are currently on sale for 19.99 at the outlet store only. So i got to the checkout and they rang up for.. 2.48, yes i said TWO DOLLARS AND FORTY EIGHT CENTS! Swiped the credit card and then left the store.. stood outside for a second and then went inside to get a size down and get a price check.. normal price. oh well. just saved myself 17.51 woo hoo haha.

oh and i also got this yoga mat before today's yoga class and it made my life way easier to not use their gross yoga foam mat things. yuck.. its orange and has butterflies i like it :)

why i'm doing this...


Inspiration. I've been called an inspiration. i don't know what to think about that as I've never seen myself as that. So then it got me to thinking why i started this thing in the first place....my reasons were and still are

- to be healthier
- to be able to walk up the 3 flights of stairs to my apartment without getting winded.
- TO FIT INTO REGULAR SIZES and NOT plus sizes...i hate having to spend 40+ dollars for a pair of jeans
- to look in the mirror and LIKE what i see.

my newest reason would be to able to run a 5k or eventually a marathon.

I'm still pretty sore from Sunday.. haven't worked out since then. my legs are finally working properly just my arms are still sore.. so tomorrow we (kristy and i) are going to have a light light workout.

So im off to finish watching glee and then to bed

push it real good!


OH MAN! I AM SORE! Even with being so incredibly sore i had a lot of fun this weekend. The Latin spice class made me feel incredibly uncoordinated but it kept me going and kept me sweating definitely a class i will continue to attend. After that we went to refuel at smoothie king then headed off to yoga class , my first instructor led yoga class and it was AWESOME! I loved it. The instructor was very easy to follow and went thru a 1-4 level system which allowed you to figure out what positions you could handle and what kind of modifications to do. I felt awesome after wards too, so refreshed and ready for nap!

Today we went to a weight lifting class and it kicked my ass! seriously! i am soooo sore from it, we were going to try a different yoga class with a different instructor which so happened to have been the same one that taught the lifting class but we decided not too because we would have fallen over doing just a downward dog haha. But after seeing this instructor with the lifting class we decided we liked the other instructors mellow attitude and awesome teaching from saturdays class anyway.

Im now in the market for a good yoga mat .. any suggestions??

yoga! and latin spice! i love exclaimation points!


WOO! i should be preparing myself for tomorrow but i can't help myself the internet calls to me! haha

tomorrow me and Kristy are going to two classes. The first is called Latin Spice and its 45 mins of Latin-like cardio dancing. should be fun, then after that we are doing yoga.. yes i said yoga! I've only done yoga in the privacy of my own apartment so I'm a little nervous to do it with a whole class!
Then Sunday we are doing a lifting class thing.. i dunno its weird. then after a different yoga trainers class, we are going to each to see which trainer we like more.

anyhoo going to chug some water and head to bed!

spin class and membership


I SPUN! I SPINNEDED! haha.. spin class was an hour long and i didn't die! BUT OH MAN, my butt hurts tremendously though from the tiniest seat ever.
There were maybe a total of 5 mins where i wasn't peddling but i did it! i did a few runs and i did a few of the pop ups when i felt like i wasn't going to fall over haha. I'm so proud of myself.

I also joined the gym, now i have a fitness center in my apartment complex but I've been getting incredibly burned out with the elliptical and the treadmill that i needed something new, something to push me.
i feel inspired i feel like i can get thru this and make it on the other side of the 200's

biggest loser tonight brought me to tears! multiple times! geeeez i cant believe there is only one more episode left!!

i'm on the right path..ive got this..

but seriously my butt might be bruised. haha

back on track.. for real!


Sorry about my lack in postings i was very unmotivated this last week. With the failures in calorie counting and the failures in motivation to work out i just kinda laid around and watched TV.. BUT good news! I'm back on the ball!

Yesterday i did my weekend walk with my friend Kristy around town lake in downtown Austin , about an hour of walking AND stayed within my calorie budget.

Today i ate kinda terribly but my work out helped me stay within my budget. I did intervals on the eliptical of 2 min fast pace sorta like "running" and 2 min regular pace almost "walking"

Monday is going to be an off day depending on how long Iron Man 2 is and how i feel when i get home because tuesday night after work me and Kristy got free 7 day passes to 24 hour Fitness and there is a...SPIN CLASS well, hopefully there is a sign up sheet so if its full then no but if is it we are going to do some lap swimming. We have the whole week planned out too! Thursday = turbo kick which is like kick boxing , Friday would be lap swimming again and Saturday would be Latin spice which is like Latin dance move Cardio stuff.. then Sunday is an off day , then Monday night is Cardio dance party. I just need something new and different to keep me motivated i can't keep doing such repetitive work outs.

alright well thats all from me.. im going to go back some Lemon-Raspberry Muffins which only have 186 calories each! Using this recipe
